Things to do in SeaWorld Orlando

What comes to mind when you thing about SeaWorld? Lots of orcas and dolphins doing some awesome stunts splashing people around? Although this is ideally a theme of SeaWorld, this attraction offers much more.

Since the year 2014, SeaWorld Orlando has been partitioned into seven separate entertainment areas called “seas”, which can happen with well-marked tracks. Everyone celebrates a distinct aquatic theme. Here are the details:

Shallow seas: the main features of this spot includes Key West, view of the land and the sea that takes its name from the island of Florida, home to a few of the most charismatic sea creatures: rays, dolphins, turtles, manatees & Flamingos. Here you will find the Manta and the Dolphin Theater and Dolphin Cove roller coasters, which offer interactive moments with local dolphins and the opportunity to see dolphins mothers & their young.

Sea of Legends: the spot is based on two famous roller coasters, Journey to Atlantis and Kraken, and those who love the excitement will surely love to pass time here. The first has dark and winding passages and an aqueous climax, and the second with vertical rings and bottle openers is an even better spectacular theme.

Ice Sea: 1 of the park’s main attraction, Antarctica’s: Penguin Kingdom, is located here. This is a motion-driven movie that tracks the adventure of an imaginary penguin hero. Even the live penguins show is here.

The Sea of Delight: In addition to the Sky Towers, a 400-foots observation tower having multi-level rotating capsules, it also houses an imitation of a Mediterranean town named The Waterfront, as well as the Sea Lions and Beaver Observatory. Seaport Theaters is the only land animal’s show in the park and features cats, dogs, ducks, pigeons and even extraordinary large pig.

The Sea of Mystery: Shark Encounter and Shark Wreck Reef are here & are one of the most visited attraction in the National Park. The 1st houses the “Hypercoaster” of Mako, a speed of 75 mph that simulates underwaters adventures. Shark Encounters is a large underwater tunnel where prehistoric animals swim right on to your head. Nautilus Theater is equally in this spot.

The Sea of Fun: it is ideally an activities park for children with a roller coaster for children, a gym in the jungle & a water playground. This park has equally opened the sesame road in the SeaWorld region with characters and family characters from television shows.

The Sea of Power: it is the spot of the most famous park and the headquarters of the Shamu Stadium, which houses the legendary Orca show. Here you will also locate the Arctic interior sand, where beluga whale & walruses are served every day. Due to disputes in the past, SeaWorld has announced that it will stop this service and its playback program at the end of 2019.

SeaWorld Orlando tips

  • Come with layers The weather in Florida is generally warm (70 degrees in winter and 90 degrees in summer), but due to air conditioning and a controlled environment, the indoor presentation rooms can cool all year round.
  • Wear clothes that dry quickly. There is a lot of water nearby and some of them will probably spray it, especially on water-based trips. It is also worth making a small towel.
  • Take a card and make a plan. As with amusement parks, it is better to have a sense of organization, otherwise you can lose valuable time if you travel aimlessly. If a large roller coaster is on your to-do list, remember to do so soon.
  • The show is very popular. So come 20-30 minutes before the show to grab a good seat.
  • Do not drive if you can help. With the free shuttle service offered by most Orlando hotels and resorts, parking and related fees can usually be avoided ($ 22 for a normal car). Check with the reception desk.
